Don't Drink The KoolAid

The human experience is controlled by what the mind learns.

Until Awakening offers clarity, the human lives within the confines of the unnoticed conditioning.

I'll use a relevant example of late. Let's say you place your attention on continual negative opinions, devoid of facts, and solutions that are in the highest good of all.

One of the side-effects of drinking that kind of KoolAid is that the person becomes a servant to the bad programming of always having to be right.

Because this is a place of duality, in order to be right, they have to make someone or something else wrong. The more they feed this bad conditioning, the bigger it gets.

Notice it. Notice how some go from criticizing one thing like politics, to criticizing....everything. They spit vitriol obediently for that rush. Eventually, we can't hear each other anymore.

Their loved ones may point out the constant negativity, but that program needs to be fed, and it's not going to listen to reason.

How helpless or angry can a precious human feel in their own life, that they would allow someone to talk them into such toxic behavior? And who's talking them into it?

People who already know that if they poke you in your grievances, they can get you riled up enough to join them in personal attacks against others, and a my way or the highway mentality. That’s a lose-lose situation.

That's the opposite of democracy, but they don't acknowledge that. These are not bad people, it's just bad programming. And that programming can be contagious.

Until it is noticed, it will control their life.

If this post is rubbing you the wrong way, the way out is in. Let's put our pointer fingers down, mind our own uteruses if we have one, make an about-face, and look within.

It takes a bit of self-honesty and courage, but it can be done. Free yourself from this debilitating learned behavior of negativity. Your mind, body, soul and maybe a few friends and family, will thank you. It's time, and you're worth it.

Peace in, peace out.

Namaste.
